Summary:

The Workshop on Child Protection & Child Rights Sensitisation was successfully organised on 5 December 2025 at Avritti Bhawan, Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya (IGRMS), Bhopal, by IGRMS in collaboration with Anthropos India Foundation (AIF).

The workshop witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 150 students from 15 different schools across Bhopal. The programme aimed to create awareness about child rights and protection while also encouraging self-expression and future-oriented thinking among young learners.

The workshop began with an interactive session on Child Protection and Child Rights, conducted by Ms. Pooja Singh, Consultant at UNICEF, along with Ms. Subiya Asad from Anthropos India Foundation. The session sensitised students to their fundamental rights, safety, well-being, and the importance of seeking support and protection.

This was followed by a session on Career Guidance, led by Ms. Saba Farhin and Ms. Sukanya Guha Niyogi from Anthropos India Foundation, where students were introduced to diverse career pathways, the importance of self-awareness, and informed decision-making for their future.

In the concluding segment, students participated in a Creative Expression Session, where they were encouraged to express their thoughts and experiences through painting, drawing, essay writing, or poetry, based on their individual interests. This activity provided a platform for creativity, reflection, and confident self-expression.

Overall, the workshop was an engaging and impactful initiative that successfully combined awareness, guidance, and creativity, contributing to the holistic development and empowerment of children and youth.
